You may or may not know this but I design websites too! I know I know I’m doing a lot. But I love web designing! Its like decorating a house, you get let your creativity run wild. I am really excited to announce my latest site design! Please visit www.shesamaneiac.com and support my client Tiffany Kenner and her new hairstyling business!!
I have a sick addiction. I love to bling out everything. From cellphones, to laptops, to calculators, clocks, you name it I want to bling it. I only like working with Swarvoski crystals. They are the best! And Swarvoski doesn’t come cheap! Thats why I try to buy mine at wholesale but for small (and I mean small) you can get the ones from Micheal’s.
The trick is the glue. Which I discussed in this bling shoe tutorial. The glue is E6000 glue that your can get at any craft stores for about $5 bucks. (Yes, Melissa, if your reading, I am still talking about this glue)
Also, you need a gem stick which you can get from your local crafts store too. Its a great tool to pick up the little stones to place on your item easily because it has a waxed head. This speeds the process up drastically. No, tweezers are not a good stone picker upper.
It is good to note, that is takes A LOT of stones to bling something out. For example, my IPhone 4 case took about 300 stones and took about 1 hour to do (I did you 16ss size stones–which are larger therefore take less time). Click to here to check out some other blinged things.
I have been so addicted to Pinterest lately! What isn’t there to like? I have assembled my Top 5 Pinterest images of the week and why I love them!
I love this Audrey picture! It reminds us why we love fashion. Because it makes a statement. Fashion can be fun or it can be serious but at the end of the day we are all just playing dress up.
Have you seen Disneybound’s Disney inspired assembles? Wow!! I have been watching her images rotate on my home board, so I know she is getting a lot of repins. It is really cool to see her interpretations of her favorite Disney characters. She makes looking like a princess or damsel in distress look cool again.
Ok. I have to admit the last time I got this wasted was when I was in college but this postcard is hilarious! If I was the cop and someone said this to me, I might have to let them go.
Sharp. Very Sharp.
This decor seems doable, matter of fact, I have this same mirror that I got from Hobby Lobby.

I saw these awesome DIY bracelets on Pinterest and decided to make me some! However, I added my own spin on it by making them adjustable versus having a closure.
1. You need satin cord, embroidery floss (matching the cord color), and rhinestone trim. I found mine at Jo-Ann. If you get a half a yard of the rhinestone trim you can make up to 3 bracelets. So for 1/2 yard of trim, floss, and cord comes up to about $15 or so. Some designer bracelets that look this can run up to $190.00, check it out here.
2-5. To make the bracelet adjustable and without added closures, I used the sailor knot technique. At first it was a little challenging but I watched this youtube video about 2 times and got the hang of it.
6.Line up the rhinestone trim along the cord. Use the embroidery floss to wrap in between the individual stones.
7.When you get to the opposite end of the bracelet wrap back to the beginning and tie a tight knot with the ends of the embroidery floss to secure the rhinestone trim to the cord.
I love love my bracelets and right now it is so on trend!
Hey Dolls! So lately I have really been feeling my outfits. Some people think that putting thought behind your outfits is a waste of time besides Victoria Secret makes such cute pajamas, that I see some girls roll right of bed and run errands in it. Not much thought behind that. But I believe that a cute outfit can really make your day. It makes you want to go out and take on the world because DAMN IT I am not wasting this outfit sitting inside.
So here is what I am wearing today:
This is what I wore yesterday:
I am really enjoying layering! Yesterday, I wore the Polo long sleeve oxford under the trendy black and white blazer with a belt to cinch the waste. I have never worn this combo but it worked!
What are you wearing? Are you going to be taking any fashion risks in the new year?
My sister gave me one of the best gifts for Christmas and that included all the celeb must have make up! Now if you know me, you know that me and make up have had a love affair since I started rumbling through my mom’s Mary Kay party samples. My sister is an inspiring make up artist and I must say her make up is pretty darn flawless. So I thought I would share some of the items that she shared with me! Some of the products were already my own personal favs!
1. I have become a Smashbox fan since searching for a foundation that was lightweight but had full coverage. I strongly suggest investing into the Smashbox oil-free primer. It goes on before moisturizer. It gives the make up something to cling to therefor increasing its longevity.
2. OMG. What else can I say about Urban Decay’s Naked eye shadow pallet. This is a must have! Urban Decay is known for luscious eyeshadow that come in exotic colors but something is so refreshing about this nude eye shadow pallet. Finally a great eye shadow combo for everyday looks! Tip: For longer eye shadow wear PRIME YOUR EYES first with Urban Decay’s eye primer. I use the eye primer daily and I never have to worry about oily eyelids creasing my eyeshadow 20 minutes after application.
3. Victoria Secret’s Hair Serum. It has the perfect consistency to give your hair a shiny look without being greasy and it smells lovely. Buy it here.
4. La Mer. This was in my Christmas gift basket. I have heard of this product but it is definitely a product for the rich and famous but if you do some digging on ebay you can find a sample size more wallet friendly. A 2 oz. size of the day/night cream runs $250 a jar.
5. NARS blush/brozer/eyeshadow in Orgasm/South Beach. My sister informed that one of Nars’ top selling products is its Orgasm blush. It is a flattering color on all skin types.
6. OH Brushes! This is something my make up toolkit is in desperate need of an upgrade. I never realized how a good set of make up brushes makes applying your make up easier and blended. But I guess it makes sense, since good painters don’t use worn out brushes when they are painting their masterpiece. My sister instructed me to ebay to get a good set of brushes for cheap. Check it out here.
7. Jennifer Lopez is having one HOT HOT comeback for like the 3rd time. But I have to admit this smoking hot mama of 2 is looking good. By the way, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer invented the phrase GLAM TEAM and Scott Barnes is definitely a member. He is Jennifer’s make up artist and he invented Body Bling, which gives your body just the right amount of shimmer!! A nice way to spice up the winter months because a good sparkle isn’t just for summer.
What are you favorite new make up products? I am always looking for new beauty items to try!
Hello Favorite Readers, I came across this video on Shine from Yahoo’s site. The host of The Thread Sarah Bernard did a great piece on Trends Women Love but Men hate, so I had to share this with you guys. I was laughing at a couple of these trends because…I’ve always thought some of them were a bit tacky anyway, but it’s nice to know that there are people out there that agree with me. If you’re looking to update your look or try something new…Stear clear of these fashion no no’s! LOL!
